Upcoming Sprint Galaxy S10 update will fix LTE and roaming issues

Sprint Galaxy S10 update fix lte

By now, you may very well know that Sprint’s having some network related problems with Samsung devices, mostly related to LTE and roaming.

Not only the newly launched Galaxy S10 but even the devices recently updated to Pie, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8, have been reported to be suffering from the same/similar bug as their users have complained about the same issues too.

Though, we have some good news, at least for the Galaxy S10 users. Seawolf, a mod at Sprint’s forums, today revealed that the carrier is planning to release an update on April 16 that will fix the issues with LTE, roaming, etc. on the Galaxy S10, S10e, and S10+ handsets.

As always, Sprint and Samsung continue to closely monitor concerns about intermittent or total loss of voice or data with the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e handsets. There will be a software release available on Tuesday, April 16th that will prevent the device from experienceing intermittent voice or data. Please update your device as soon as this release becomes available.

This won’t be the first update Sprint has released far to tackle the issue — they released ASC8 build on March 27 first — but we do hope this one is the last OTA to fix the issue.

Sorry Galaxy S8 and Note 8 users, there’s no update for you guys, yet. But once they have fixed the issue on the S10 handsets, it shouldn’t take Samsung and Sprint to roll one bug fixer update for your handset too.

  1. Downloaded it today. Still having roaming issues. I didn’t have any issues before the first software update either, btw.

  2. The update did nothing.
