LG was at this year’s MWC tech show to unveil several phones, among them the 5G-ready LG V50 ThinQ. At the event, it was revealed that the device will first be sold in the U.S. through Sprint and Verizon Wireless and indeed, the former carrier is now taking pre-orders for the V50 ThinQ.

The phone started selling in the home country of Korea last Friday and becomes the second 5G smartphone in the U.S. after Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, which started selling on Verizon Wireless yesterday.

Sprint wants a cool $1,152 for the V50 ThinQ, but for a limited time, you can lease it on Sprint Flex for $24/month with $0 upfront payment. Normally, you’d have to pay $48/month.

Besides the V50 ThinQ, Sprint also has another 5G-ready device up for pre-order – the HTC 5G Hub. The Hub goes for $12.50 per month, saving you 50% off the normal price. To activate the device, Sprint says you’ll need $60 per month, which will also get you access to 100GB high-speed data.

It’s worth noting that Sprint 5G coverage is still limited to Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and Kansas City, with Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Phoenix, and Washington DC to follow later.

Both the LG V50 ThinQ and HTC 5G Hub will be available for purchase as from May 31st, which is also when Sprint will flip on its 5G switch.
