Sprint Galaxy Tab 4 7-inch Android tablet is also on the receiving end of Android 5.1.1 update today, only moments after we saw Canadian Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge owners receive 5.1.1 update too.
This comes thanks to user K94U, who shared a cheerful video of him spotting and installing the Android 5.1.1 update on his Tab 4. Video is shot pretty badly, though, so bear with that.
It comes right after global Galaxy Tab 4 7″ receiving the Android 5.1.1 update yesterday. We won’t be surprised if other 7″ Tab 4 tablets around the world from Samsung get their Android version upped to Android 5.1.1 too in next few days.
The update isn’t available for download as a firmware just yet, but you can count on us to bring it to you once it hits the web.
Meanwhile, try to grab it yourself as an OTA. Go to Settings > About device and look for an system update from there.
The Android 5.1.1 OTA is sized around 901 MB, in case you were wondering whether to look for Wi-Fi connection or not.
