We’ve now become used to seeing Sony launching two flagship phones in a year, once every six months, unlike most of its major rivals who choose to spend their time and energy on one. It seems that the next phone Sony will come up with, early next year, has been christened Sony Xperia XZ4.
The serial leaker, OnLeaks, on his twitter account, leaked multiple photos of the upcoming Sony flagship last week. This time around, another famous leaker, IceUniverse, has managed to leak detailed device specifications of the Sony Xperia XZ4. The most exciting news is that the phone might feature the latest Snapdragon 855 processor.

We had previously reported about how the Japanese electronics major was working on a foldable phone. It might well be the case that the Xperia XZ4 releases early next year and the foldable phone releases later on, in the second half of the year, staying true to Sony’s philosophy of launching two flagships in a year.
The phone is expected to be made from glass with a metallic frame. Unlike the Xperia phones launched this year, the fingerprint scanner may find itself on the side – or maybe under the display screen? Let’s take a detailed look at the specifications currently available regarding Sony Xperia XZ4 to judge how this phone may be received by consumers.

Price and Availability
While there’s no official word yet, Sony is expected to officially unveil the Xperia XZ4 phone at MWC 2019 in February/March, just like it usually does. The phone will most likely be priced around the $1000 mark and directly compete with more popular OEM offerings like Samsung Galaxy S10.
