Samsung to release One UI update beta in UK on November 20

Samsung is ready to begin the beta program for their new Android 9 Pie update for their flagship devices. The new update now comes along with Samsung’s brand new UI which has received a major overhaul from the current Experience UI.

The UI is called One UI and is almost beginning to roll-out to users who have registered for the beta program. As of now, only users in Germany, South Korea, and the United States would be receiving the beta update which would soon be followed by other regions.

The new One UI beta update is also now confirmed to be released in the UK on November 20. It’s also expected along with the rollout in the UK, a few other countries would be getting the One UI beta update as well, however, a specific date isn’t yet confirmed.

There are reports suggesting the beta program can begin as early as November 15 in Germany. Currently, only the latest Samsung flagships are eligible for the One UI beta update so Galaxy S9/S9+ and Note 9 users can rejoice and those who want to get their hands on with the new update can sign-up for the beta program through the Samsung Members application.

The update would be available for all Galaxy S9/S9+ and Note 9 in January 2019, while previous years flagship devices should receive the update in a couple of months, however, Samsung hasn’t provided any specific details as to when One UI would be available on the Galaxy S8/S8+ and Note 8.
