Samsungs One UI beta program based on Android 9 Pie is now available in multiple markets including the U.S., Europe, and Asia for those using the Galaxy S9.

Here is the changelog for the third One UI beta update for the S9 and S9+ in the U.S. The update, as you’d expect, brings along a flurry of bug fixes and performance enhancements. It also updates the security patch level to the latest December 2018.

Regions that are not taking part in the beta program will have to wait until January 2019, which is when the stable One UI based on Android 9 Pie will begin rolling out to the public. The WFA recently cleared multiple Galaxy S9 handsets with Android 9 Pie on board, suggesting the company has received the go-ahead to upgrade the phone to Pie.

How do I join the One UI Beta programme?

The stable update, that will be available for all users across the world, is expected in January 2019, but the beta version is already available in Korea and is expected to arrive in the U.S. and Germany later this week. As for Europe, China and India, the update will begin rolling out in the next few days (as of November 17, 2018).
