Galaxy S8 release set for March 29th in US and UK

Marketing has always been a strong tool in the hands of smartphone manufacturers to hit the hammer right on the targeted audience and then get reeling in awe. Mostly and often used by not so established brands, it is surprising to note that Samsung is taking to the marketing gimmicks to build a base for the launch of its much hyped upcoming Galaxy S8.

Although not an official confirmation, a news about Samsung going for a ‘record breaking marketing campaign’ to launch the new Galaxy smartphone, has been spotted online.

Twitter user @Ricciolo1 via a tweet has stated that the South Korean manufacturer will launch multiple-city events in the US and the EU to release the Galaxy S8. The same user earlier announced the Galaxy S8 date of release to be March 29 and that it will be available in week 17 of this year. He even quoted the price to start at $849.

If the tweets are believed to be true, the only conclusion we can come to is that Samsung is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the Galaxy S8 turns out to be a star seller. After all, it has already spent a whopping 150 billion won ($128 million) to ensure S8 battery safety measures and underlying an 8-point battery safety check. Seems justifying also, given the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco.
