Initial production of Galaxy S8 targeted at 10mil units [Rumor]

Latest reports have it that Samsung is planning to produce 10 million sets of Galaxy S8 initially, with the release set in April 2017 as previously rumored.

We have had a good hint of Galaxy S8 entering production, as its firmware build number also got leaked earlier. That, together with today’s report add up to sufficiently prove that Samsung is nearly decided on the Galaxy S8 features now, and looks set to place order of parts in February, with announcement following in march, and release scheduled for April.

To add more weight to Galaxy S8 rumors and leaks, today, we got good idea of what Galaxy S8 may look like thanks to these leaked renders.

Galaxy S8 is expected to pack in Snapdragon 835 processor — which should power many flagship phones, BTW — and 6GB of RAM, coupled with 5.7″ display (6.2″ display for Galaxy S8 Plus, which could also sport dual camera at the back), 128/256 GB storage, on-screen fingerprint sensor (no physical home button), and 12MP Autofocus enabled front camera.
