Samsung Galaxy S11 codename leaks

We still have about nine months between now and the possible launch of the Galaxy S10 successor, but we already have the first leak of what will potentially be called Samsung Galaxy S11.

According to tipster Ice Universe, it’s possible that Samsung is looking for artistic inspiration for the design of its next flagship S device. This stems from the claim that the device will be codenamed Picasso, a name that has a rich history of art painted all over it.

Whether this means Samsung will refresh its design language for the launch of the Galaxy S11 is unclear. But usually, the Korean company does this after a 2-year cycle, meaning the current S10 design should at least see another iteration before a full redesign follows later in 2021.

There have been claims of Samsung doing away with the 3.5mm audio jack and a button-less design for the Galaxy Note 10. While the former is not an easy design change, the latter might be part of what this codename is all about.

Even so, we still have close to a year before the Galaxy S11 arrives, so there is still time for anything to happen.
