Latest news

January 13, 2019: T-Mobile users of the Galaxy S10 series have started receiving the January 2020 security update on their units. The update weighs in at around 200MB. The full changelog of the update the software version is yet to known.

January 03, 2020: Samsung has started pushing out the latest security patch to the Galaxy S10 trio. Carrying software version BSL4, the update only brings the January 2020 security patch and not any new features or bug fixes.

December 23, 2019: Almost a week after the update was released for the carrier-locked S10s in the US, the unlocked devices in the country have started receiving the highly-anticipated Android update.

Carrying software version CSKP, the 2.1 GB OTA brings the Android 10-based One UI 2 alongside the December 2019 security patch.

December 17, 2019: After Sprint and T-Mobile, two other major telecom companies, AT&T and Verizon Wireless, are rolling out the stable build of Android 10 for the Galaxy S10 trio. For AT&T users, the package weighs around 2.3 GB and is being rolled out incrementally.

To download the package, you must change your date to December 19th and look for the update.

As mentioned, Verizon, too, is rolling out the update, but we are yet to receive details about the size of the package and software version.

December 16, 2019: More often than not, carrier-locked variants end up getting software updates at least a couple of weeks later than their unlocked, global counterpart. And the Galaxy S10 lineup, too, isn’t an exception.

In the last week of November, Samsung rolled out the stable build of Android 10-based One UI 2 for the Global, LTE variant of the Galaxy S10 family. And now, one of US’ leading telecom companies, Sprint, has started rolling out the highly-anticipated Android 10 update to S10 users. Carrying software version CSKP, the OTA also brings the December 2019 security patch alongside Google’s latest update.

As confirmed by a Reddit user, T-Mobile, too, has released the update.

December 10, 2019: In the last week of November, Samsung released the stable Android 10-based One UI 2 build for the LTE Galaxy S10 trio. The release caught many by surprise as it was almost a month ahead of schedule. Sadly, S10 5G users were once again neglected by the South Korean OEM.

Today, the company is finally bringing the more future-proof S10 users onboard, finally releasing Google’s latest OS to the device. The update, which carries software version G977NKSU2BSL2, is currently rolling out to S10 5G devices in South Korea, specifically to those who participated in the beta program. Apart from the latest version of Android, the package also delivers the December 2019 security patch.

December 09, 2019: The world looked in wonder as Samsung rolled out the stable build of its Android 10-based One UI 2 to the Galaxy S10 family across the globe. While most of us have been left satisfied with the release, users in Israel have encountered a plethora of bugs since its arrival.

To remedy the situation, Samsung has decided to halt the rollout in the said region and work on a hotfix. The South Korean OEM isn’t giving away any specifics and only claiming that the update will be out soon.

December 06, 2019: US telecom giant, T-Mobile, has seemingly started to roll out the stable build of Android 10 for the Galaxy S10 family. It has been a week since the update was released for the Global variant, and it’s great to see T-Mobile keeping up with the unlocked variant.

The update doesn’t mention Android 10 in the release notes, but its 2.5GB footprint certainly hints that way. The OTA, which carries software version CSKP, also brings the December 2019 security patch.

November 28, 2019: After a round of 7 beta updates, the stable Android 10 update is finally available for the S10, S10+, and S10e handsets. The stable One UI 2 update is seeding out for the S10 users in Germany right now as build BSKO, with the software version of the stable update being G970FXXU3BSKO (S10e), G973FXXU3BSKO (S10), and G975FXXU3BSKO (S10+). The stable update should release in the US market in the next few weeks while we expect it to become available in India and Europe in the next few days.

Galaxy S10 stable Android 10 update

November 25, 2019: Reaffirming the belief that the company is indeed working to make the stable Android 10 build as bug-free as possible, Samsung has released yet another One UI 2 beta for the Samsung Galaxy S10 family. Carrying software version ZSKL, the seventh beta also brings a bunch of bug fixes. As per release notes, the 147 MB OTA fixes issues related to the AOD screen, random resets, lock screen, One UI Home, using the Contacts app, Bluetooth headset, and more.

November 21, 2019: Days after releasing the fifth Android 10-based One UI 2 beta for the Galaxy S10 family, Samsung has started rolling out yet another software update in the US as well as other supported regions. As expected, the sixth release under One UI 2 beta, which is dubbed as version ZSKJ, doesn’t introduce any new features, focusing on squashing a bunch of bugs instead. Reported bugs in the Gallery, Bluetooth, Status bar, Quick Panel, AOD, and a couple of other areas have been taken care of.

November 15, 2019: Samsung has released the fourth Android 10 beta update today, coming in as CSK9. It’s a bug-fixer update that looks to fix issues with the screen (flickering),  blur on the home screen, the erroneous screenshot of the Recents screen, status bar, keyboard, and more. Check out the screenshot below for more. The Beta 4 update based on Android 10 is already available in the UK and some parts of Europe, as well as Korea. It should be released in the other markets too pretty soon.

Galaxy S10 Android 10 beta 4

November 13, 2019: AT&T hasn’t been the fastest when it comes to software updates, and this latest release goes on to show how much they’ve slipped down the ladder. After all other major carriers in the United States released the update, AT&T has finally joined the bandwagon, releasing the November 2019 security patch for the Galaxy S10 family. The update is still unpublished on AT&T’s website, so, we don’t have the software version for the release, yet.

November 11, 2019: South Korean OEM, Samsung, recently rolled out an update, which brought a bunch of Galaxy Note 10 key features to the Galaxy S10 lineup. If you thought that was the end of the story, Samsung’s got a pleasant surprise for you.

As per the company’s latest announcement, another set of Note 10 exclusive features would soon be made available for the S10 devices. The OTA will introduce keyword searching in the Gallery app, enhanced Media and Devices functionality, and Intelligent Wi-Fi Auto Hotspot.
