Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to feature narrow angles in display’s corners

Galaxy Note 8

Despite the fact that last year’s Galaxy Note 7 turned out to be a total disaster for the company, it is not giving up on the Note series just yet. As most of you may already know, the Galaxy Note 8 is happening!

And needless to say, it will follow the same design language similar to the Galaxy S8 — an almost bezel-less design coupled with a gorgeous display. As per the latest rumors, however, the upcoming smartphone will bring along a subtle change.

The display unlike the one currently on the Galaxy S8 and the S8+ will have a narrow-angle on all the four corners as can be seen from the above image.

That said, a new image render of the Note 8 which surfaced online just a while ago doesn’t reflect the changes mentioned above. It still showcases the smartphone with same rounded corners as seen on the Galaxy S8 line. It further reveals the rear side of the device which houses a vertically placed dual camera setup.

Interestingly, there’s no fingerprint sensor on the back as well as on the front. So, does this mean, Samsung is getting rid of the fingerprint scanner on Note 8 or managed to integrate it into the display? Well, maybe or maybe not. These are just speculations anyway. So, take ‘em with a pinch of salt.

Moving ahead, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be launched earlier than anticipated and that it will ship with Android 7.1.1 and not Android O.

The Galaxy Note 8 is tipped to feature a 6.3-inch Infinity Display, Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and 256GB of onboard storage.
