Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Nougat update rolling out in India, build N920GDDU3CQC7

As expected, Samsung has started expanding the base of Nougat update for Galaxy Note 5 units. The latest region to be added to the list is India where Galaxy Note 5 users have reported receiving the Nougat firmware update.

The update to Galaxy Note 5 (SM-G920G) in India is being pushed as firmware version N920GDDU3CQC7. Arriving as an OTA update, it is being rolled out gradually in the country and should take a while before the roll out is complete.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update brings many new features to Galaxy Note 5 viz improved user interface, split-window mode, improved menu settings and notification controls. The update being a major one weighs at a hefty 1GB. Therefore, it is advisable to get your handset over 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network before hitting the download button.

Samsung commenced the Nougat roll out for Note 5 in Turkey and followed this by spreading it to eight other regions which are United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Libya, Iraq, Israel, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan.
