Samsung Galaxy Note 5 may also feature dual-edge display, says VP of Samsung’s product strategy team

On the first day of the Mobile World Congress, Samsung unveiled its two new smartphones – the Galaxy S6, which was their flagship device, and the Galaxy S6 Edge, which apparently received much more attention than the usual-looking Galaxy S6. And rightly so, the Galaxy S6 Edge is one of the most beautiful smartphones we’ve seen so far. It has a smooth and glossy look making it stand out and above everything; it has this perfect balance about its look.

With both the sides of the S6 Edge curving down, it is the perfect weapon to battle the iPhone 6. This is the device’s wow factor which made it much better than the company’s Galaxy S5 – the device which resulted in Samsung losing its ground to Apple. The Galaxy S6 Edge was praised highly at the MWC. People said the phone had a premium look and feel.

All of this positive response prompted the executive vice president of Samsung’s product strategy team, Roh Tae-moon to say that there would be a possibility of the company introducing the dual-edge display for the Galaxy Note lineup – the Galaxy Note 5. Well, this wouldn’t come off as a surprise as the Korean company introduced the ‘Edge’ style last year, by launching the Note Edge with its flagship Note 4.

However, there is still a lot of time for the Galaxy Note 5 to be unveiled. So, there are chances that Samsung might change its plans. But again, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a Note 5 Edge arrive with dual-edges later this year.
