Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for Canada appears on Wi-Fi boards, codename SGH-T889V

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for Canada has cleared WiFi certification under the model number SGH-T889V. The Galaxy Note 2 for Telstra, Australia also cleared its WiFi certification earlier today. We already know that the Galaxy Note 2 is headed towards a bunch of Canadian carriers, including the biggies- Bell, Telus, Rogers as well as others like WIND, Mobilicity, Sasktel and Videotron.

The official release date has been announced by Samsung as October 30th, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see more carrier based Galaxy Note 2 variants headed for Canadian shores, to show up at the WiFI certification board over the next few days.
