Samsung Galaxy Note 10 screen size to be 6.75-inch: Rumor

The OG Samsung Galaxy Note was ‘the’ device to start the big smartphone trend. Ever since the Galaxy Note, Samsung has been constantly increasing the screen size on the Galaxy Note series of devices. Samsung is now all set for 2019 with it’s upcoming Galaxy S10 launch early next year, but the true Samsung ‘flagship’ apart from the foldable Galaxy device we might see next year would be the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.

A new report today from The Bell has it that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 would be coming with a 6.75-inch display, which would be a marginal increase over the previously planned 6.66-inch screen. The new screen size might make the display a fair bit bigger than any previous Galaxy Note device.

Since Samsung seems to be doing away with bezels all together next year, we’d expect the overall device footprint to be almost similar to that of the Galaxy S10. For those folks who love watching or creating content on their devices, the Galaxy Note 10 would be their best bet for a smartphone.

The decision to increase the display size seems to be made due to the rumors which indicate that the 5G variant of the Galaxy S10 might be launched with a 6.66-inch display, which would put the Galaxy Note 10 in direct competition with the S10 5G variant itself since there wouldn’t be much of a differentiation between the two devices.

Samsung’s Infinity-O design would give the device plenty of screen real-estate since we won’t see the dreaded notch; however, there are a few people may not like the display punch-hole camera design either, especially if Samsung throws in two front-facing cameras.

All in all the Galaxy Note 10 is shaping up to be a true ‘phablet’ and fortunately with the introduction of One UI, using the massive device might not be that much of a mess with one hand.
