Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 to release in Korea on July 4

Samsung has announced that it will release the budget friendly device, Galaxy J5 2017 in Korea on July 4. Galaxy J5 2017 is the successor to last year’s Galaxy J5 2016.

Samsung Galaxy J5 2017, which will be sold via three mobile communication companies is priced at 344,300 Won ($300). According to Samsung, Galaxy J5 2017 is the first Samsung smartphone that is under the low price tag of 300,000 Won.

Galaxy J5 (2017) flaunts a full metal body with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED HD display. Inside, it is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core in-house Exynos 7870 chipset. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

In the camera segment, the smartphone features 13MP f/1.7 rear camera and a 13MP f/1.9 front-facing camera. It is equipped with 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

Further, Galaxy J5 (2017) supports Samsung Pay and fingerprint recognition function.
