Samsung Galaxy J5 and J7 2017 variants are now available in Austria. Both the smartphones have been listed on the company’s official Austrian website. The listing, however, doesn’t reveal the pricing details of either of the phones.
Both the Galaxy J5 2017 and Galaxy J7 2017 are available in Black, Blue, and Gold color variants. Also, both of them don a glass and sandwiched design with unique placement of the antenna bands.
While the Galaxy J5 comes with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED HD display, the J7 is equipped with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display. Both the handsets house a 1.6GHz octa-core in-house Exynos 7870 chipset. When it comes to memory, the J5 has only 2GB of RAM, whereas the J7 gets 3GB of RAM.

Both of them come with 16GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. Also, both share the same 13MP f/1.7 rear camera and a 13MP f/1.9 front-facing camera.
The major difference comes in the form of battery. While the Galaxy J5 2017 is equipped with a modest 3,000mAh battery, the J7 gets a 3,600mAh battery. Both the handsets ship with Android 7.1 Nougat straight out-of-the-box.
