Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Value Edition with Spreadtrum SoC Leaks via Benchmark

Last year, Samsung stated that it will not be launching many devices this year, but the firm seems to have not stopped multiple variants of its devices with minor changes. Lately, the firm launched the Galaxy S6 Active that is a rugged variant of the flagship Galaxy S6 with durable design.

Also, Samsung is speculated to be prepping a device called Galaxy S6 Edge Plus that is a larger variant of the Galaxy S6 Edge. It seems like this is not the only one as the firm is also making another device called Galaxy Grand Prime that has got leaked online. It is claimed that this device will be called the Galaxy Grand Prime Value Edition and it was leaked a few days back.

A previous report stated that this smartphone will make use of a 64 bit quad core Marvell PXA1908 processor and not a Snapdragon 410 SoC as in the original Galaxy Grand Prime.

Now, a recent report suggests that the Galaxy Grand Prime Value Edition with the model number SM-G531H might be stuffed with a Spreadtrum SC8830 processor teamed up with 1 GB of RAM and Mali-400MP2 graphics unit. The other aspects of the device include Android 5.0 Lollipop, 8 GB of native storage space, 8 MP main snapper, 5 MP front facing selfie snapper, LTE and a 2,600 mAh battery.
