Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro specs revealed in GFXbench listing

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro (SM-C5010) is scheduled for February release as per rumors, so it was about time it touched on GFXBench. This is good news for those loyal Samsung fans out there looking for a performance oriented device without the premium price tag.

The C5 Pro is no slouch when it comes to performance, as the hardware front is pretty solid on specs. The device packs in a 5.5 inch 1080p display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of built in storage and 16MP front and back cameras.

The octa-core Snapdragon 626 clocked in at 2.2GHz coupled together with the Adreno 506 GPU powers the device. The main shooter is capable for 4K UHD video recording at 30fps. The smartphone also carries the necessary pack of sensors on board including NFC.

Samsung is known for skimping out on sensors like the gyroscope and magnetometer on higher end budget models but the Galaxy C5 Pro made the cut thanks to the higher price range it sells at.

The Galaxy C5 Pro would ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with the update to Nougat expected to hit the device in the coming months.

All in all, the C5 Pro is aimed at Samsung users looking at metal phones with decent enough specsheet. Albeit given the above average specs, the C5 Pro does the “Pro” moniker justice. The C5’s more powerful older brother, the Galaxy C9 Pro, which features the Snapdragon 653 is making its way to other countries now, as it today reached Hong Kong.

Samsung is also looking to release Galaxy C7 Pro, with the launch set in January, right before the Chinese New Year and holidays.
