Moto G5 Plus

Motorola’s fifth generation Moto G smartphones have finally made it to the US market today. The bigger variant among the two, the Moto G5 Plus is available on Republic Wireless starting at $229 for the 32GB variant.

Folks who are planning to buy the 64GB variant will have to shell out $299 on Republic Wireless to purchase the device.

Although not a premium handset, Moto G5 Plus has been one of the most anticipated phones of the year especially for its impressive camera. The metal exteriors add to the aesthetics of the device. BTW, did we mention that the Moto G5 Plus (and the Moto G5) is the first G-series smartphone to don a metal body?

In terms of hardware, the Moto G5 Plus features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, a 5.2-inch HD display, either 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage. A 3,000mAh battery keeps the device juiced up.

Lenovo-owned Motorola had unveiled the Moto G5 Plus alongside the standard G5 last month during the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona. The smartphone has already gone for sale in India and the UK.
