Release of Mario Kart Tour delayed

Mario Kart Tour

Nintendo, the Japanese multinational video-gaming company that gave gamers some of the most popular video games in the last decade by making Mario and Pokemon household names across the world, has been dishing out watered-down versions of their games for mobile gaming purposes in the last few years.

Exactly one year ago, on 1st February 2018, Nintendo announced via its Nintendo America twitter handle that the mobile phone version of Mario Kart – named Mario Kart Tour – was in the works and would be released by March 2019.

However, in Nintendo’s earnings report, released quarterly, the company has announced that they are postponing Mario Kart Tour’s release to sometime this summer in a bid to “improve quality of the application and expand the content offerings after launch.”

Although the delay is quite flustering, pacification comes with the knowledge that our patience will be rewarded with a better-quality game, that will be handed to us in a few months’ time.
