[Official] Redmi Note 3 (kenzo) CM14.1 with Android 7.1 Nougat arrives

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 may or may not get the Android 7.0 Nougat update officially from the Chinese manufacturer. And even if it does, it’ll be delivered with MIUI 8 in all MIUI flavor which is a heavily modified version of stock Android.

Thanks to the people at CyanogenMod though, official CM14.1 nightly builds are now available for the Redmi Note 3. This not only brings Android 7.1 Nougat update to the device, but also brings stock Android as Google meant it with some added features from CyanogenMod.

CM14.1 is an Android 7.1 Nougat based AOSP ROM developed and maintained by CyanogenMod — the most popular custom ROM for Android devices.

This is an official release of CM14.1 for Redmi Note 3. However, this is a nightly release and doesn’t have all of the CyanogenMod specific functions like CM Theme Manager working yet. You might have to wait a bit more if these functions are important for you.

Check all details about the ROM below, along with downloads and installation instructions.
