The PowerBeats Pro is the newest innovation by audio company, Beats Electronics. This pair of wireless earphones claim to be sweat and water resistant, to assist those with an active lifestyle. Well, looks like you can swim with them on too.
The earphones are hook-shaped to make sure they sit in your ear and don’t fall out too easily. The ear tips are made of silicone for a more snug fit.
PowerBeats Pro uses Apple’s H1 chip just like AirPods, for better connectivity to the device. It also comes full of features it shares with the AirPod. Audio is paused when the earphones are removed from the ears. It can activate Siri Hands-free. However, since PowerBeats is not aimed specifically at the iPhone, you can use any other assistant with it.
Each speaker may be used independently, with physical controls for volume and playback. The most impressive part is its battery life. It runs for almost 9 hours on a single charge. So what do you do when it dies? You put it back in the case, it doubles as a charger. Mind. Blown.
The earphones will be available in four colors of Ivory, Moss, Navy, and Black. PowerBeats Pro will be hitting the market in May 2019 priced at $250. Maybe don’t go swimming with them on.
