The Pixel series has been victim to many leaks recently. Whether it’s Pixel 4, the company’s 2019 flagship, or the oft-rumored budget premium handset in Pixel 3a, the rumor has been quite revealing.
And the Pixel 3a has been back at it, again. It was only yesterday that a new leak about the 3a and 3A XL handsets had surfaced, all thanks to their appearance on the Google Play’s Developer Console, which revealed that that the devices will feature a dedicated visual core chip like the Pixel 2 and Pixel 3, their screen res (below), and that they will come with 4 gigs of RAM.
Today, the Pixel 3a was spotted on Google’s own website, no less than the store.google.com itself (via 9t05google). As you can see in the screenshot above, the drop-down menu on the Google Store page was showing — it’s not anymore, obviously! — a link to Pixel 3a product page supposedly. You can still see check out the URL here, although it’s a big 404 now.
Not only the device, a link for its case was also spotted. Further, it seems Google is also testing a new page to help you compare its Pixel phones, here — and that makes sense because once Google unveils the 3a handsets, its portfolio will expand to 8 devices, jumping to 10 by the end of the year once when they unveil Pixel 4 sets later this year.
The rumors so far indicate that the Pixel 3a will have a 5.6 inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels, Android 9 Pie, 4GB of RAM, Snapdragon 670 chipset, moderate 3,000 mAh battery and a 12MP camera.
While, its larger sibling, the Pixel 3a XL, will come with a 6-inch panel featuring a resolution of 1080 x 2016 pixels, 64 GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM, Snapdragon 710 chipset, Android 9 Pie, same 12 MP camera but bigger battery than the 3a.
While every bit of leak about the Pixel 3a is as juicy as it can get, we also have another upcoming smart display from the search engine giant breaking a bit of cover: the Nest Hub Max. Yes, its link was also spotted on the Google Store today.
We’re very excited. This phone is going to be cheaper than the flagship Pixel phones, which enables many more people to get hands on one of the best camera experiences that Google offers with the Pixel lineup, without breaking their bank for that.
