Pic clicked from Sony Yuga appears on picasa

We know that Sony is working on the Yuga, a quad-core smartphone to compete with the likes of the LG Optimus G, HTC One X, or the Galaxy S3, and today the first picture apparently taken by the Sony Yuga, with model number C6603, has appeared on Picasa.

The resolution stands at a lowly 1151 x 2048 instead of being the full resolution that the rumored 13/16 megapixel EXMOR R camera of the Yuga would take pictures at, but we almost never see full resolution photos from such devices leak on Picasa anyway. The Yuga that has taken the picture is running the 10.1.A.0.270 firmware.

The Sony Yuga is expected to sport a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 5-inch display with a 1080p resolution, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and a microSD slot, 2500 or 2800 mAh battery, and either Android 4.1 or 4.2 out of the box (probably the latter if it releases next year). Talk of the Sony Yuga being the Sony-made Nexus has also been going around, but we seem to have no firm proof of multiple Nexus devices being a reality, though that might change at the October 29 Google event.
