Oppo F3 Plus launched in India, priced INR 30,990 and is up for pre-order

Oppo’s offerings have quite caught the fancy of camera phone lovers in India, so much so that last year it overtook Apple to become the second largest smartphone vendor in the country by sales value. Trying to keep its sales floating in the Indian market, the company has launched another camera-centric phone in the country today- the Oppo F3 Plus.

Priced at 30,990, Oppo is marketing the F3 Plus as a ‘selfie expert’ as it boasts of dual selfie cameras with 16MP+8MP sensors. The 16MP front camera comes with 76.4-degree wide-angle lens allowing users to click single selfies while the other 8MP 120-degree wide-angle lens is for group selfies. Other than the dual selfie camera, Oppo F3 Plus rocks 16MP Sony IMX398 rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and f/1.7 aperture.

It packs in 4GB RAM and 64 GB ROM expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. There’s also a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button with a ‘hydrophobic membrane’ enabling it to respond to wet fingers.

The OPPO F3 Plus is available in two color options- Gold and Black- and will go on sale starting April 1st. It can be purchased online as well as offline across the country. Oppo also made another announcement to release the younger sibling of F3 Plus, the Oppo F3, with 5.5 inch screen in May.
