Update [September 18, 2019]: Even with the launch of OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro keeping OnePlus busy, the company has done a good job in keeping up with Android 10 development. Today, they released their second Android 10 beta update as Open Beta 2, which is all about fixing various bugs in the current Android 10 beta (Open Beta 1). The OB2 update is rolling out for the OB1 users as an OTA, but if you are on Android 9 Pie, you will need to download and install the full ROM (download it from the table below).

September 03, 2019: The Android 10 update is available for the OnePlus 7 the very same day the Pixel sets got one from Google. Sure, Android 10 is available as a beta only for OnePlus 7 users unlike Pixel devices that get the stable update today, but you have to laud OnePlus for making this happen. The Android 10 beta update for OnePlus 7 comes as Open Beta 1 that also gives you a taste of OxygenOS 10 features besides everything new that Googler added to Android 10.

OnePlus 7 Android 10 update

  • Android 10 update for OnePlus 7 is now available
  • Android 10 was released on Sep 21 as OxygenOS 10 OS
  • It’s also available on OnePlus 7 Pro
  • Oct 9: Android 10 rollout has been paused because of the issues reported by users (see above)

You got to hand it to OnePlus for working swiftly to give its users the stable Android 10 update without any delay. You know, the likes of Samsung, Motorola, and LG haven’t even rolled a beta version of Android 10 update for any of their devices, and that says a lot about OnePlus making giant leaps with software updates.
