One X+ coming to TELUS this fall

It’s the day of the HTC One X+, which was officially announced by HTC as an upgrade to the One X and has been in the spotlight since then. We were then told that the One X+ would be exclusive to AT&T in the US, and now Canadian carrier TELUS has announced that the One X+ will be coming to its network this fall.

The HTC One X+ will be one of the first LTE-capable quad-core device in Canada along with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, thanks to the new 1.7GHz Tegra AP37 processor that will carry out LTE duties without needing a switch to the dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor as was the case with the One X.

The One X+ sports the following specs:

  • 1.7GHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor
  • 4.7″ Super LCD2 720p display
  • 1GB RAM
  • 32/64GB storage
  • 8 megapixel rear camera, ImageSense chip
  • 1.6 megapixel front facing camera
  • 2100 mAh battery
  • Beats Audio
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Sense 4+ UI

TELUS hasn’t said anything about the exact release date or the expected price of the One X+, but that’s something we should find out when the release date comes near.
