One UI 2 beta released for Unlocked Note 10 devices in US

Galaxy Note 10 and 10 Plus

Weeks after releasing the highly-anticipated One UI 2 beta in Europe, Samsung has started rolling out the update for unlocked Note 10 and Note 10 Plus devices in the United States.

The update carries software version ZSK3 — N970U1UEU2ZSK3 for the Note 10 and N970U1UEU2ZSK3 for Note 10+ — and weighs in at 1.9GB.

As confirmed by Samsung in an announcement earlier, no carrier-locked Note 10 variants would get the opportunity to run Android 10 beta, as the company had only planned to release the software for the unlocked Note 10 users in the United States. To put things into perspective, Samsung’s S-series flagship for 2019, the Galaxy S10, got the update on T-Mobile and Sprint alongside unlocked devices.

To get on the One UI 2 hype-train and register for the beta, you’ll need to go to the Samsung Members app and submit an application form. With that out of the way, you’ll have to go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Repeat the steps a couple of times if you don’t get the update right away.
