The official CM14.1 nightly builds for OnePlus 2 are now available, thanks to team CyanogenMod.
OnePlus 2 has been officially confirmed by Brian Yoon (software head at OnePlus) to be on the list of devices OnePlus will be rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update to officially. However, Brian didn’t share any firm timeframe for the release of Nougat update. So unless you’re someone who could still wait for a couple of months to get Nougat booting on your OP2, we recommend installing the official CM14.1 for OnePlus 2 on your phone right away.
CM14.1 is an Android 7.1 Nougat based AOSP ROM developed and maintained by CyanogenMod — the most popular custom ROM for Android devices.
This is an official release of CM14.1 for OnePlus 2. However, this is a nightly release and doesn’t have all of the CyanogenMod specific functions like CM Theme Manager working yet. You might have to wait a bit more if these functions are important for you.
