The live streaming app, Periscope from Twitter has received a new update that raises the version from 1.12.3 to 1.13. The app brings the ability to connect Periscope to other social media sites such as Facebook, Google.

So with the latest update, Periscope is not restricted to Twitter only but can be connected with other sites as well.

First, the update brings the ability to connect accounts from Google, Facebook and other phone contacts. With this, you can find friends on Periscope from these networks as well.

Further, the update lets you post your broadcast directly to Facebook when you go live via Periscope. The update has also fixed the 360 camera issue where the camera didn’t work properly with some phones.
