[Download] Note 4 CM13 Marshmallow ROM

  Update (14th Nov. 2015): Note 4 N910c CM13 build added.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update officially from Samsung. But the Korean manufacturer hasn’t given us a release timeline yet for its Marshmallow update plan, plus the more recent Samsung devices like Note 5, S6 Edge Plus, S6/S6 Edge are more likely to get the update before the Note 4 does.

But if you wish to run Marshmallow running on your Note 4 right now, before Samsung’s official release, you could do so by installing the unofficial build of CyanogenMod 13 for the Note 4.

Developer gekkehenkie11 over at xda has released an unofficial build of CM13 for the Note 4 international variants N910F and N910G. The ROM is in very early stage at the moment but thankfully still has major functionalities like Camera, RIL, WiFi and Bluetooth working fine.

Below is the list of known issues so far on this unofficial Note 4 CM13 ROM:

  • Finger print scanner is not up yet (we’ll give it a shot soon)
  • I’ve seen some battery drains, not sure if they still persist, I expect they do.
  • NFC not working
  • Probably a lot more

This Note 4 CM13 ROM is only available for the GSM variants of the device running on Qualcomm processors. However, the T-Mobile Note 4 N910T and AT&T Note 4 N910A aren’t yet supported by the ROM.

You can grab the Note 4 CM13 ROM and its blobs file from the download links below and simply flash the files via TWRP recovery or any other custom recovery of your choice.

└ This is for N910C variant only. You don’t need the blobs file with it. Just download and flash via twrp.

Since CM13 is an AOSP based ROM, you won’t get Google services like Play Store pre-installed on it. You need to flash a compatible gapps package separately via recovery to get Google services on CM13. Get it from the link below:

Enjoy Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your Galaxy Note 4 with CM13.

Happy Androiding!
