This isn’t the first time we’re hearing about the Nokia 9, but now we have a few more details than before. A new leak confirms that the new device from Nokia, which goes by model number TA-1005, would feature a dual camera setup and the Snapdragon 835 processor.
Specifications of the device were posted on the FCC website, which also included several other documents. We’ve been hearing about the Nokia 9 for several months now, but Nokia hasn’t released the device yet. The rear camera setup would include a 12MP sensor and another 13MP unit.
Other specs of the Nokia 9 include, a 5.5-inch OLED display, 128GB of internal storage, a 5MP front camera, a 3250mAh battery, and Android 8.0 Oreo software. We are still not sure when Nokia plans to announce the device.

Details about the launch date, or pricing, and even how much RAM it would have, aren’t known yet. Expect upwards of 4GB RAM, which is sort of become the norm these days. Most likely, Nokia will release this in Q1 2018, if they want to be part of the competition. Most flagship smartphones in the second half of 2018 will feature the Snapdragon 845 chipset.
