Nokia 7 Plus is out of the rumor mills. The phone was announced at the MWC 2018 and just like it had been leaked before launch, you get a flurry of premium features, including a dual Carl Zeiss camera on the back, an 18:9 display and best of all, it is part of Android One.

The phone rocks a premium build molded from a solid block of 6000 series aluminum with subtle curves and ceramic-like finish, giving it one of the best looks on a phone yet while at the same time ensuring you don’t lose grip of it, the company claims.

  • 6-inch 18:9 LCD display with full HD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels) and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 technology.
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset.
  • 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, expandable up to 256GB.
  • Android 8.0 Oreo.
  • Dual 12MP (f/1.75 2PD with Zeiss optics) + 13MP (f/2.6 with Zeiss optics) main camera with dual-tone LED flash and 2x optical zoom. 16MP selfie camera with Zeiss optics.
  • 3800mAh battery.

Other specs and features of the Nokia 7 Plus include Face Unlock, Qualcomm Quick Charge, USB-C, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and a rear-mounted scanner. The phone comes in two shades of Black/Copper and White/Copper.

Also, folks in China will be able to grab a 6GB RAM variant of the phone, but there’s no word of this variant’s availability in other markets.

Despite shipping with some cool specs and a bunch of premium-like features, the Nokia 7 Plus is still a midrange phone. This is reflected in the €399 price tag HMD has slammed on the phone. There’s no word on pricing for other markets, but we expect it to come in India priced at about INR 25,000.

In China, the Nokia 7 Plus is already up for reservation on JD.com, Tmall and Suning starting at 2299 Yuan for the 4/64GB variant and 2499 Yuan for the 6/64GB variant. These prices translate to about $360 and $400. Availability in China is expected to begin one week into March while those in other markets, including the U.S., will have to wait until somewhere in April or thereafter.
