Nexus 6P, Google Pixel and Pixel XL February security update to release on February 6th

Canadian carrier Telus has officially revealed the release date of February security update for Google devices — Nexus 6P, Google Pixel and Pixel XL. These devices will start receiving the latest monthly patch as early as February 6.

This should also be the global release of the February security patch for Nexus 6P, Google Pixel and Pixel XL devices since updates for these devices are directly controlled by Google.

Notably, Sony has also released February security update to a handful of its devices namely Xperia XZ, X Performance, Xperia X and X Compact.

For the Xperia XZ and X Performance, the update arrives as build number 39.2.A.0.417 while Xperia X and X Compact are receiving the update as build number 34.2.A.0.311.
