The flagship device from HTC, the HTC U11 is receiving a new software update. The update brings the latest security patch to the Sprint HTC U11.
As is the case with any security patch, the update, which arrives as version 1.28.651.3 takes care of various security vulnerabilities and brings along fixes to existing bugs. You can also expect performance and stability improvements from the update.
It is advisable to connect to a good Wi-Fi network before downloading the update and keep your handset charged as high as 50 percent.

In other news, last month, Google released the new version of the Android operating system in the form of Android Oreo 8.0. It brings features such as Picture In Picture mode, snooze notifications, revamped settings and other things. You can check all Android Oreo features here.
HTC, like a good boy, after the release of Android Oreo immediately announced some of the devices that will receive Oreo update. These include HTC U11, U Ultra and HTC 10.
