Huawei has new software updates for the Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Huawei P9 that install the latest Android security patches to the duo.
In addition to installing July 2018 security patch, the Mate 10 Pro update also comes with improvements to connection stability when using HiSuite to connect your phone to a PC. As for the P9, the changelog doesn’t go past the July security patch. The Mate 10 Pro update ha software version 8.0.0.160(C800) while the P9’s has version C10B402.

Both updates are rolling out over the air, which means it may take a few days before the download notification arrives. You can wait for the OTA notification, but you can also try a manual update via the Settings menu, although this doesn’t guarantee you access to the update as you may have to try your luck several times.
