New HTC phone with model G011A gets certified by WiFi Alliance

Looks like HTC is working on a new Android-powered smartphone. The new HTC phone has got its first certification and it’s by WiFi Alliance.

The new HTC phone, bearing model G011A has received the certification today i.e. 29 June. The specifications of the device are not known currently. However, now that it is certified by WiFi Alliance, we would come face to face with this device on other certification platforms as well.

Meanwhile, HTC announced the launch of its One X10 smartphone in Taiwan, just a few days back. The smartphone is priced at NT$8,990 (USD 300). It features 5.5-inch FHD Super LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC and packs in 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

In the camera segment, there is a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP selfie camera. The phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is powered by 4000mAH battery with support for fast charging.

Talking about HTC, recent rumors suggest the upcoming Google Pixel 2 will be manufactured by HTC and not LG.
