New Android bug causing Voice to Text Messages to repeat 4 times

A new issue is plaguing several Android users, wherein the Voice to Text messages are repeating themselves exactly 4 times. This is happening for users running Android 7.0 Nougat on their devices. But some are also facing the bug on older Android versions, meaning it is widespread.

The issue seems to be happening to some, while others aren’t having any troubles. It happens when using the Google Voice to text option on Android, in any app, on any keyboard. The text output repeats itself 4 times.

For some users, the text output is repeating itself in all its possibilities. For example, when you say “Test 123” the outputs would be “Test 123”, “test one two three”, “test 1 2 3”, etc. Google officials have acknowledged this issue and passed on to the Android development team for now, but it was previously marked as spam.

The issue should be fixed in an upcoming update, if it isn’t a server side issue. The problem could have something to do with Google’s server where all the voice to text conversion happens. It may not be related to a particular app version. At this point, we do not exactly know what is causing this to happen.

  1. Hello this is the most ridiculous statement I’ve read in a very long time. To say that several users are seeing this is asinine. And you call this a new issue? I’ve been seeing this happen for 5 fucking years at least.

The same bugs cycle through Android devices like the plague
