Motorola Solstice Dual-Core Android 4.0 clears FCC, US Cellular next destination

A new device from Motorola has just passed through the FCC, and has been approved. Codenamed the Motorola Solstice, with model number XT901, not much is revealed about the device except for a few details about the display resolution, network frequencies and the firepower (Processing capability).

The Solstice XT901 is an LTE capable handset with a qHD display of 540 x 960 pixels. It is said to be packing a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Krait CPU, also found in the likes of the recently Motorola Droid Razr HD and the Razr Maxx HD, and has Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream  Sanddwich on board.

Information about the display size, imaging capability and other miscellany is pending further information. However it has been established that the Solstice is headed for US Cellular.
