Motorola RAZR i launches in Argentina

Latin America’s first Android smartphone powered by an Intel processor has arrived in Argentina in the form of the Motorola RAZR i, which will be launching in the country some time in the next few days.

The RAZR i, like all recent Motorola devices, comes with a Kevlar-coated back and an edge-to-edge display on the front, and is powered by a single-core 2GHz Intel Medfield processor, which has been proven to be quite a powerful chipset despite its lack of multiple cores.

Here’s a quick look at the complete spec sheet:

  • 2 GHz Intel Medfield processor with HyperThreading technology
  • 1GB RAM
  • 4.3″ Super AMOLED qHD edge-to-edge display
  • 8 megapixel rear camera
  • VGA front-facing camera
  • 8GB internal storage, expandable microSD slot
  • 2000 mAh battery
  • Wi-Fi, HSPA, Bluetooth 2.1, NFC
  • Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich (Upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean)

Information on pricing should be out in the next few days when the RAZR i becomes available in shops and online stores, and we’ll let you know when that happens.
