Back in mid-September, Motorola took to the stage and announced their first Intel-powered Android smartphone, the Motorola RAZR i, which later went up for pre-order in the UK. Now it’s the turn of those in the US as the device is available for pre-order in the country, from online retailer Negri Electronics.
The RAZR i is powered by a single-core 2GHz Intel Medfield processor which, while single-core, performs quite well and is also power efficient. Other specs of the RAZR i include a 4.3″ Super AMOLED display (540×960 pixels), 1GB RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera accompanied by a VGA front camera, 8GB internal storage and microSD slot, 2000 mAh battery, and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.1 update coming later this year).
