Motorola and Verizon Wireless are seeding a new software update for the Moto Z2 Force, which includes bug fixes, the latest security patch, and other improvements.
Those who own the Moto Z2 Force from Verizon should be seeing the update soon. The software version of the new update is NDXS26.183-15-5, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. In this update, your device will receive the latest November Android security patch, and a fix for the KRACK Wi-Fi vulnerability.

Apart from that, the update will fix other bugs to provide better system stability and security. If you’ve got the update notification, we suggest you install it right away. Make sure your phone is on a stable Wi-Fi network and has more than 50 percent charge.
To manually check for the update, you can head over to Settings > About phone > System updates. It can take anywhere up to a week, and sometimes more, to receive the update. AT&T released a similar security update for the Z2 Force last month.
The Moto Z2 Force will most likely be the first Motorola device to get the update to Android 8.0 Oreo, which is expected to arrive by the end of this year.
