Moto Z4 Force price and specs leaked

Leaked Moto Z4 render-2

For a while, we knew that Motorola will only unveil one phone in the Moto Z series – the Moto Z4 Play. Plenty of rumors did rounds regarding this phone, some coming out in late 2018, but more recently, it emerged that the only Moto the Z series will get is the standard Z4.

Now, it’s emerging that the Moto Z4 will be accompanied by the Moto Z4 Force, a superior variant of the standard model. This is according to a tipster whose previous leaks haven’t been accurate so to say (his Moto G7 and G7+ leak was a bit off).

Publishing on Twitter, Andri Yatim claims to have accessed specs and price details of both the Moto Z4 and Moto Z4 Force. Nothing he says about the former is new apart from the fact that it will cost $399, but everything about the latter is new to our ears.

Apparently, the device will borrow the Z4’s design language, with the only notable difference appearing on the back. Here, instead of a single-lens 48MP main camera, the Moto Z4 Force will reportedly get a tri-lens shooter that adds a 13MP and 8MP telephoto lens. This means that none of the renders doing rounds are for the Force.

Where the standard Z4 is expected to come with a 3600mAh battery, the Force variant will reportedly come with a smaller 3300mAh unit. On the brighter side, you get a more powerful Snapdragon 855 chipset allied to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device is also expected to come with IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

To keep it competitive, Motorola will value the Moto Z4 Force at $650, nearly half the price of other flagship phones and still cheaper than the entry-level Samsung Galaxy S10e.

As noted, the person behind these leaks doesn’t have the best track record, so take the info with a grain of salt.
