Moto X (2015) to Include Camera Enhancements, Tips Motorola Executive

Talking of smartphones and their cameras, Apple, Samsung, Sony, HTC and LG have come up with better imaging hardware compared to the rest of the competition. As cameras are considered an important aspect of the devices in the current generation, Motorola seems to be addressing the same in their next generation Moto X smartphone.

This information comes from a couple of tweets made by Adrienne Hayes, the CMO of Motorola. The executive confirms that the camera improvements are an aspect that Motorola will be addressing this year with its flagship Moto X (2015) model. When questioned if the camera of the device will receive additional attention, he replied that the firm knows that it has to improve in this aspect and that it will definitely do the same.

Hayes also confirmed that the upcoming flagship smartphone will introduce advanced manual controls to the camera. It is yet to be seen if these aspects will live up to the expectation of the fans. However, it is good to know that the firm is in plans of exploring into improvements.

Going by the existing reports, the Moto X (2015) is said to arrive with a Quad HD 1440p display and boast of a 16 MP rear snapper with optical image stabilization and 4K video recording support. The device is likely to make use of a Snapdragon 808 processor and arrive in two variants – a 5.2 inch and a 5.7 inch one.
