The Motorola Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play are receiving new updates in the U.S. The updates are rolling out over the air and tag along the latest Android security patches for the duo alongside bug fixes and performance improvements.
Not long ago, those using the Moto G6 on Verizon started receiving this same update with March 2019 security patches. The update, as usual, also included plenty of bug fixes and stability improvements.
While those using both the Moto G6 and G6 Play outside the U.S. have already received the update to Android Pie, the incoming security patches are still based on Android Oreo.
Of course, it shouldn’t be long before the Pie updates arrive in the U.S., but we can’t give you a specific date for now.
