Moto G4 Play Nougat update: US Cellular pushing out build MPIS24.241-2.35-2-13

Update [April 12, 2017]: The Moto G4 Play is now receiving an update from US Cellular. Arriving as build number MPIS24.241-2.35-2-13, the update deals with problematic bugs and enhances overall system performance too. This Marshmallow based update may include the latest security patch too, but US Cellular hasn’t mentioned it in particular in their update logs.

Earlier this month, we told you that the Moto G4 and G4 Plus Nougat update for users in Germany would start rolling out by the end of January. Now, we have learned that the Moto G4 Play should also get the update by January end.

As you can see from the screenshot above, the Moto Germany Twitter account replied to a user. The Android 7.0 Nougat update should be rolling out to German users of the G4 Play in the coming weeks.

Motorola had also released a list of devices that would be getting the Nougat update soon. The Moto G4 and G4 Plus have already received the update in several regions across the world. The Moto X Play should also get the Nougat update soon.
