Moto C Plus with 4,000mAh battery will launch on June 19 in India

Convenient, compatible, customizable, current, cool, charged and classy is what Motorola is calling its latest device, Moto C Plus, set to launch on June 19, Monday, in India.

Moto C Plus, which is the high-end variant of Moto C that was launched just a few days back in India, is the second budget friendly smartphone from Motorola to debut this year.

Motorola, via its official Twitter handle, has been teasing videos about the upcoming device and in the latest tweet, they have clearly mentioned that the device will be sold exclusively via the E-com giant, Flipkart. Also, FYI, the launch page for Moto C Plus is now live on Flipkart.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Moto C Plus, similar to Moto C sports a 5-inch display, however, unlike Moto C that has FWVGA display, Moto C Plus flaunts HD display. Further, the device is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB).

In terms of camera specs, the rear camera has been bumped from 5MP in Moto C to 8MP in Moto C Plus, however, the front camera remains same at 2MP.

However, the USP of the device will be its 4,000mAh removable battery that will last nearly 30 hours, as per Motorola. Not only that, the budget friendly device will ship with 10W rapid charger for quick charging facility.

Further, the smartphone will be a dual-SIM variant that supports 4G VoLTE and will run on Android Nougat out of the box. About the colors, the device will come in three color options of Pearl White, Fine Gold, and Starry Black.

Talking about the price, the Moto C Plus will come under INR 9000 range, considering the device was launched at $133/Rs 8,500 in other countries.
