More Pics of Sony Xperia Yuga leak out!

There’s no denying that the Xperia Yuga is very real and surely coming to market some time next year, and while Sony may not be in the mood to say anything about it just yet, we’ve seen mostly all the details, including some of the specs and also a few pictures of the device.

Now we have a couple more pictures of the Xperia Yuga for our viewing pleasure, courtesy of Mobile Review, who apparently have in their possession a test version of the device. According to Eldar Murtazin of Mobile Review, who doesn’t usually sing praises of Sony’s devices, the big screen on the Yuga (a 5-inch 1080p resolution unit) and the “very productive” Qualcomm quad-core chipset make a “fabulous combination”, going so far as to say that the Yuga has come about by a “technological revolution”.

Murtazin does note that the Xperia Yuga can get as hot “as a stove” during use, though we can expect such issues to be non-existent as development on the device goes on into the next year. With such powerful chipsets powering smartphones these days, heat is no doubt going to be an issue, but again, we can expect manufacturers to figure out ways to prevent it from being a major problem.

The Xperia Yuga is expected to sport a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, a 13/16 megapixel camera, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage and a microSD card slot, and a 2500 or 2800 mAh battery.

Sony has not yet made a single mention of the phone, however, so the company is probably waiting for the right time and place to do it. With test units in the hands of some already, we can expect to get a peek at the CES next month.
