Metro by T-Mobile wants just $60 for the Motorola Moto G7 Power

Moto G7 Power (2)

The Motorola Moto G7 Power has been selling in the U.S. for a while but it’s only now that it has found its way to Metro by T-Mobile (formerly MetroPCS). Rather than pay the $250 RRP, the T-Mobile-owned carrier wants you to part with just $60 for this device.

Even without the discount, the Moto G7 Power is still a decent buy at its RRP. Now that you are saving a cool $200 on the same, it makes buying this one a no-brainer, but of course, there is always a catch with such attractive deals.

In order to pay the said $60, you must be a new customer coming from another carrier. Also, you must choose a plan of at least $50 per month to qualify. Existing customers can get the Moto G7 Power for $110, but a new line is needed for this to work.

Still on existing customers, a qualified upgrade will get you the G7 Power for $160 while everyone else will pay $210, which is still a $40 discount compared to other retailers/carriers.

To recall, the Moto G7 Power has a 6.2-inch HD+ display screen, a Snapdragon 632 chipset, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, and a whopping 5000mAh battery that promises up to three days on a single charge.

Below is a summary of the Moto G7 Power specs:

  • 6.2-inch 19:9 HD+ (1570 x 720) LCD display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor
  • 3GB or 4GB RAM
  • 32GB or 64GB expandable storage, up to 512GB
  • 12MP main camera
  • 8MP front camera
  • 5000mAh battery
  • Android 9 Pie
  • Extras: Bluetooth 4.2, USB-C, Rear-mounted FPS, Face unlock, 3.5mm audio jack, TurboPower fast charging, etc.

It’s still unclear if this deal is limited to in-store purchases or whether online buyers will also get it. But at least until there’s activity on this page, we’ll assume the former case is true.
